BKids offers 3-day and 5-day fixed weekly schedules, with a minimum enrollment of three days per week. This structure supports routine, strong relationships with teachers, and full participation in our play-based curriculum. BKids Creative Curriculum is designed to nurture children’s confidence, creativity, and critical thinking through engaging, hands-on activities. Being located within Bethany Athletic Club gives our preschool a unique opportunity to enjoy a variety of opportunities beyond the classroom. Children regularly visit the club’s basketball court and turf room for movement, games, and gross motor activities. When the weather is nice, we take nature walks and enjoy field activities at a nearby open field. These experiences provide children with a fun and dynamic environment to explore, have fun, and stay active year-round!
Yes, all children enrolled are required to provide proof of immunizations before starting care. Unless you have valid medical exception from your child’s physician.
Yes. BKids is a fully licensed childcare center, meeting all state requirements for safety, staffing ratios, training, and supervision. We follow established guidelines to ensure children are cared for in a safe, structured environment.
Yes. Emotional safety is just as important as physical safety. Teachers take the time to know each child, creating a predictable and supportive environment where children feel comfortable, confident, and understood.
Children are actively supervised at all times. Our staff are trained to stay engaged, aware, and responsive—not just present. Teachers know their children well and maintain consistent awareness throughout the day.
Our program is located inside Bethany Athletic Club, but the preschool itself is not open to the public or gym members. BKids has its own secured entrance with keypad access, available only to enrolled families and staff connected to our childcare program.
We use Procare for secure digital check-in and check-out. Only individuals authorized by the family are permitted to pick up, and identification is verified when needed to ensure every child is released safely.
Cleanliness is a priority throughout the day. Children wash hands upon arrival and between transitions, and classrooms are cleaned continuously as part of daily routines. Toys are sanitized daily, laundry is professionally handled, and the facility is cleaned nightly by Bethany Athletic Club staff. We also complete bi-weekly carpet cleaning and schedule in-service days for deeper cleaning throughout the year.
No, you are not required to be a Bethany Athletic Club member to enroll at BKids. Club membership provides full access to the gym, pools, fitness classes, and other premium amenities, but it is not required for BKids enrollment.
For safety and security, all families, both BAC members and non-members are required to check in at the Bethany Athletic Club front desk each time they enter the facility for drop-off or pickup. This helps us monitor who is in the building and ensures a safe environment for everyone.
